GYROS — Great Yarmouth Refugee Outreach & Support
GYROS offers two community pre-ESOL classes in Great Yarmouth. The classes are very flexible and informal, you can attend as and when you are able to.
Tuesdays 10:00-11:30 - Women's ESOL conversation group - all levels of English are welcome, but best suited to learners who are Entry 1 and above
Thursdays 10:00-11:30 - ESOL for workers - all levels of English are welcome, for people working in any role, any number of hours (including seasonal jobs)

East Coast College
East Coast College College offers ESOL classes for Adults at The Place in Great Yarmouth and also at their Lowestoft campus, with the possibility for students to join a functional skills Maths class if they wish to do so.
All courses are accredited, with the levels ranging from Entry 1 to Level 2.
The College also offers a GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths class specifically designed for ESOL learners as well as a Level 1 Award in Understanding Community Interpreting.

English Exchange at Great Yarmouth Library
Norfolk Libraries provide conversational groups called English Exchange, open to all with no restrictions. They are not accredited, and are run by library staff and volunteers who talk to people on topics of their choosing, such as going to the shops, interview questions, or how to book a doctor’s appointment.
These groups are free, drop in and held in multiple libraries across the county and so are accessible to all. We also offer International Welcome sessions, which are information signposting sessions for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

Norfolk County Council Adult Learning
Norfolk Adult Learning offers courses to Norfolk residents over 19 years of age.
Their ESOL accredited courses have embedded maths and digital skills to boost all skills. There are non-accredited courses for Everyday Conversation, Improve your Grammar, Employability for ESOL and Family ESOL courses.
